Watch: Draymond Green’s ejection leaves Stephen Curry dejected

Stephen Curry has seen Draymond Green get ejected many times, but not three minutes into a huge road back-to-back.

The Warriors power forward picked up two quick technical fouls just 3:36 into their game against the Orlando Magic, arguing about a foul call that wasn’t even on him.

Coach Steve Kerr even called a timeout to calm down Green, with teammates and even security personnel trying to keep Green away from referee Ray Acosta. It didn’t work, and Green was ejected.

Curry looked crushed after seeing his longtime teammate get ejected once again.

Just months after Green signed a four-year, $100M contract extension, his teammates have had to deal with his continued absences all season. He’s missed 17 games from suspensions, and been ejected from four different games on top of that.

Somehow it’s not the earliest he’s been kicked out of a game this season. That happened when he dragged Rudy Gobert down the court less than two minutes into a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, which resulted in a five-game suspension.

This time, Green got kicked out early in a crucial game against a very good team in Orlando, while the Warriors are clinging to a one-game lead on the Houston Rockets for the final play-in spot. He also did it in a game where the Warriors were without injured forward Jonathan Kuminga.
