Mark Williams, Nick Smith Jr. Ruled Out vs. Heat

The Charlotte Hornets have ruled out Mark Williams (low back contusion) and Nick Smith Jr. (right foot) for tonight's home contest against the Miami Heat.

Williams and Smith Jr. will join LaMelo Ball (right ankle), Cody Martin (left knee), Frank Ntilikina (left tibia) on the bench.

Williams has been dealing with this injury for a week or so and missed the road game in Chicago because of it. So far this season, he is averaging 12.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. Nick Richards will fill in his place in the starting lineup.

The Hornets and Heat will tip things off at 7 p.m. EST.
