Redshirt junior wide receiver Robert Lewis has been added to the watch list for this season's Biletnikoff Award, given to the top receiver in FBS every season.
Lewis has emerged as the leading receiver for the Panthers in 2023, totaling 500 yards on 26 catches. That averages out to 19.2 yards per grab, in addition to five touchdowns. Lewis is one of 35 receivers in FBS averaging more than 19 yards per catch. Lewis is also currently 11th in total receiving yardage in FBS.
Lewis' best performance of the season so far came against Charlotte on September 17. In that game, Lewis caught six passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns. HIs most recent performance in a loss to Troy yielded six catches for 114 yards.

Georgia State is currently 4-1 and await their next contest against Marshall on October 15 on ESPN2.
The Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) Foundation, Inc., the Florida-based creator and sponsor of the Biletnikoff Award, released the 2023 Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List on August 7. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award. Receivers are frequently added to the watch list as their season performances dictate.
